Join us for the 9th Annual Golden Pheasant Triathlon presented by Amazon! This kayak, bike, and run triathlon celebrates the mysterious golden pheasant that once inhabited Shelby Bottoms. In this non-competitive and community-focused event, participants will kayak 2 miles on the Cumberland River, bike 8 miles on the Shelby Park Greenway, and run a 3 mile loop around Shelby Park. 

And don’t forget the costumes! We will award prizes again in 2026 for best individual costume, best team costume, and participants choice!

Proceeds from this event will benefit Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms, and Walk Bike Nashville
