Better World Program
Cumberland Kayak is committed to environmental sustainability. As part of our Better World program, we donate 2% of our sales to local nonprofit organizations that make a difference in our community!
Additionally we host benefit paddles, volunteer cleanups, and fundraising events throughout the year. Organizations we’ve supported include Cumberland River Compact, Turnip Green Creative Reuse, Friends of Shelby Park, TennGreen Land Conservancy, Walk Bike Nashville, Harpeth Conservancy, Trap Garden, Agape Animal Rescue, Gideon’s Army, and Pet Community Center.

Three million people and thousands of species depend on clean and abundant water from the Cumberland River. The Cumberland River Compact's efforts in education, restoration, and outreach all contribute to keeping our water healthy. They work on root problems of water pollution and give people the tools to be smart, impactful stewards of their watershed.

TennGreen Land Conservancy identifies and conserves land across Tennessee for wildlife corridors, critical habitat, and public benefit. TennGreen Land Conservancy protects, cares for, and connects people with Tennessee’s natural world by providing meaningful outdoor experiences, establishing conservation easements, supporting restoration efforts, and acquiring (or assisting in the acquisition of) privately-held land.
